"It's not over until it's all been said," sings Tomlinson on the track. "It's not over until your dying breath. So what do you want them to say when you're gone? That you gave up or that you kept going on? What do you do when a chapter ends? Do you close the book and never read it again? Where do you go when your story's done? You can be who you were or who you'll become."
"All the support has been incredible! Let's do this together tonight," Tomlinson tweeted before the show. ~Ashley Iasimone
It’s still early days for Tomlinson’s solo musical career, and there is no telling how far “Just Hold On” will go as a song. EDM/pop crossovers are hot these days, especially those that come with well-known names singing the hooks. The song has been released on streaming platforms, and with names like Aoki and Tomlinson attached to it, radio could pick the track up in no time, especially in a period when the biggest singles in the genre are quickly becoming overplayed (see: The Chainsmokers’ “Closer”).
