Chanel West Coast has maintained a low-profile since releasing her Waves mixtape last August. This morning, she debuts her newest record "The Life," released in an HNHH premiere.
Directed by Rony Alwin, "The Life" interpolates footage of Chanel cruising in the droptop and puffing on a J with scenes from her old job waitressing at a Chinese restaurant. The song is aspirational in nature. It's an ode to hard work and hustling after that dream.
I made 'The Life' to inspire people that no matter what or where you come from if you focus and work hard, you can make it to the top," Chanel told HNHH via email.
"The Life" gets yet another great verse from Rockie Fresh. The man doesn't miss!
