Simian Mobile Disco - Hey Sister (Official Video)

A couple of weeks back, Simian Mobile Disco announced their return with new album ‘Murmurations’, which sees them teaming up with Deep Throat Choir.

With the album out on 11th May through Wichita Records, the band shared ‘Caught In A Wave’ at the time, but now they’re back with a second cut, ‘Hey Sister’. It’s been accompanied by a slightly-NSFW video that continues the narrative established on ‘Caught In A Wave’.

Speaking of the clip, director and choreographer Kiani Del Valle offered: “I wanted to create an abstract allegory for personal battles of longing/searching. The choreographic sequences explore perseverance, failure and external magnetic forces and thereby display the emotional journey of our main female character.” She adds, “I envisioned the lyrics of the song as voices that call our main character to ”get closer” or go further down this unknown path”.
