Brazilian DJ/Producer FTampa returns to Revealed Recordings with rising star and fellow South American producer Sex Room, on ‘I Need You’, which was premiered on the special 250th edition of Hardwell’s ‘Hardwell On Air’ radio show. Following on from the success of their previous collaboration ‘Lifetime’ on Sander Van Doorn’s ‘Doorn Records’, the pair seem to have found a winning formula in the studio, which looks set to ensure they both have a massive 2016.
‘I Need You’ starts out by combining 80’s style synth melodies with beautifully pitched vocals, which make room for an unbelievably large main-room melody. Glistening piano flourishes add sumptuous textures to proceedings throughout the emotional breakdown, which comes to an end with a wonderfully crafted snare fill. The enormous drop adds punchy drums and a ripping saw bass line to the hugely catchy melody, which gives the track a euphoric feel and guarantees it will be a staple in sets all year long, and beyond. It is clear the pair know how to make an anthem, and ‘I Need You’ is a prime example of this.
With support on their previous collaboration coming from the likes of Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Afrojack, it is evident FTampa and Sex Room already have the support of dance music’s biggest hitters. This track looks set to further increase their reputation as purveyors of top-quality dance music. Grab your copy of ‘I Need You’ from February 22nd via Revealed Recordings.
