Today (April 5), the Philadelphia-based electronic R&B duo are back with a sleek new joint called “Differently”, and it continues their hot streak of penning ultra-chill alternative pop jams. Watch the Zach Bell-directed video below.
“‘Differently’ is about empowering a friend and helping them see how dope they are,” the duo states. “Our creative director, Zach Bell, had the idea of an escalating tableau of women to convey this feeling. We write songs to give our fans strength and they empower us in return, so once we had the idea to feature our fans in the video, the whole vision clicked into place. We put out an open call for video submissions on social media, and these women all slayed their auditions. The shoot was a blast, and they were a dream to work with—we left so proud of this piece we made together, a little minimalist story about women being stronger together.”
