Anabel Englund - London Headache (Official Music Video)

Anabel Englund (born September 1, 1992) is an American singer and songwriter from Southern California. She is best known for her collaborative work with electronic music group Hot Natured and producer Marc Kinchen.

In October 2016, Defected Records announced they would be releasing Englund's debut solo single, "London Headache," on November 14, 2016, described as a "piece of alternative pop/house, with elements of disco running throughout ... coupled with her deeply personal lyrics". Englund also begun her own event that same year titled Gari Safari, consisting in a series of live shows.

Following a number of high profile features on tracks by Hot Natured (Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, Luca C & Ali Love) and playing a pivotal part in the success of Pleasure State along with Lee Foss and MK, LA-based singer/songwriter Anabel Englund is now ready to unleash her debut solo single. ‘London Headache’ is Anabel's first ever appearance on Defected Records and shines a light on her outstanding versatility and ability as an artist in her own right.

After a year of writing and artistic creation, Anabel has both sonically and organically found her own sound, which is equally fit for both radio and dancefloors. The futuristic yet classic production on the record allows Anabel to bring both lyrical and vocal talents to the forefront, proving that her level of storytelling is second-to-none within the world of house music. ‘London Headache’ is a stunning piece of alternative pop / house, with elements of disco running throughout, which coupled with her deeply personal lyrics makes for a unique and fascinating listen.

The original will be accompanied by two incredible remixes from Crookers and Purple Disco Machine, both of which take the track in completely different directions. Crookers injects a bit of UK Garage flavour, while PDM offers up a timeless sounding disco alternative; ready-made to send any dancefloor into a euphoric state, these are two remixes you need in your life. The release comes complete with an Accapella version and the More Than An Instrumental Less Than A Dub Mix from Cookers.
