Best known for their EDM hit "#Selfie," which celebrated and skewered 2010's narcissism, the Chainsmokers were a production duo featuring Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. Forming in 2012, Pall and Taggart's early work included remixes of tracks by Ellie Gould and the Wanted, as well as the single "Erase," a collaboration with Priyanka Chopra.
